Investing nothing to get something

If its ok with you, I might just share a new challenge I'm putting on myself.

I've got a small amount invested at http://passiveprofits.net/. Darwin, the Admin at Passive Profits, is a really decent chap, very honest and hard working. This said, the HYIP market that he uses to make his community money, is all over the place at the moment, so my $55 isn't growing much! But that's no problem, this is "fun money", I'm investing for enjoyment here, not need.

So the latest challenge....as the title may suggest, I'm going to make something (equal to my input into Passive Profits...so $55) out of nothing...zip....zero...$0.

Well, it's all for fun, so I'm once again going to be putting my money into the HYIP world...and frankly may well never see it again...but hey! This is for fun!

Oh, that little bit about starting with zero....that's right....I'm going to make my money from these silly sites that give you free money for surveys, registrations etc... We're talking pennies (or cents to those of you in the US!) for lots of clicking....I certainly wouldn't try to make a living off this, but it suites the challenge well!

So, the targets? OK, I've found a simple HYIP that takes a minimum of $5...essentially £2.50....nice and cheap! and for those of you not convinced HYIPs are risky...this ones on a Geocities site!

End investment target: http://www.geocities.com/egoldpro/index.htm

The free money....well as the above wants e-gold, as frankly do most HYIPs...I've chosen a site that will payout $1 or more to e-gold accounts!

The free money target: http://uniqwork.com

So what do you think? I'm probably mad, as I don't believe its possible myself really....but uniqwork should work (pardon the pun!). It's a question as to whether the Geocities HYIP will work. Well, it's free money, so I'm not worrying...it's all for fun.

I'll keep you updated...I'm going to log onto Uniqwork now and get clicking etc.. to earn my $5!!

Update following CobexTrade

Well its not been the best start to the new year. My favourite e-Currency site, Liberty Reserve, seems to be coming under sustained DDOS attacks, making the site sometimes hard to access. But worse still, CobexTrade has gone. CobexTrade is a reminder (not that I wanted one!) that HYIPs are not just High Yield, but also High Risk. These sites come and go, and even with a very high reputation, CobexTrade has died. So what now? Well I still have some other funds, partly earned on the GoldAge forum , which I don't think I've mentioned here before. GoldAge is a forum dedicated to investors on HYIPs etc... and it actually pays its members for posting! Not a lot admittedly, but its nice to earn at the same time as get good advice from fellow HYIP investors. Here's my current portfolio...small as it is again now: BreInvest Sochi-Invest.org Golden Purse CobexTrade has been an unpleasant reminder not to get too secure a feeling from HYIPs...I lost a lot of my egold there...but lesson...

My first blog!

Wow, here it is...my first blog. Yes, I know everyone seems to have one these days, but for a techie, I'm quite a way behind on this one. I've kept a e-diary for a couple of years now, and the more tangible diary in years gone by, but I've never shared, but finally I've realised it's about time to share with the world the inner workings of my mind...we will see! So, a bit about me! I'm a male in my mid-20's. I was born in the UK and have spent almost every moment of my life in this country (I've never been one for holidaying!). I work for a large corporate, though I don't feel like too small a part of the place. My passions would have to be Music, IT & Cycling. I don't consider myself to be an exciting person, and by this description of me, you probably think the same! Things you'll probably hear quite a bit about in this blog are: My money saving techniques...no, I don't re-use teabags, or anything that extreme, but I invest money wi...
It's been a long time, and as always the HYIP market has moved on substantially, players have come and gone at a faster pace than I'm sure they have in times past. So where does this leave me? Well actually in a good position, frankly the HYIPs themselves have been a bit of a disaster. I realised I was joining HYIPs too late in the day...when I thought they were safe, but in reality, I was joining them after the big rush, and therefore was there at the point their income levelled off, and therefore as they got bored. My other site "investments" have been the real winner though....DonkeyMails and wjob particularly. wjob still takes forever to earn cash, but you do get there, and then there's $6 in the account to play with. DonkeyMails has been the real winner though. I took a look into my profile and realised I hadn't switched on all areas of interest, so I wasn't getting the full range of banners and links to click on. More links equals more cash ;) ... an...
