Investing nothing to get something

If its ok with you, I might just share a new challenge I'm putting on myself.

I've got a small amount invested at http://passiveprofits.net/. Darwin, the Admin at Passive Profits, is a really decent chap, very honest and hard working. This said, the HYIP market that he uses to make his community money, is all over the place at the moment, so my $55 isn't growing much! But that's no problem, this is "fun money", I'm investing for enjoyment here, not need.

So the latest challenge....as the title may suggest, I'm going to make something (equal to my input into Passive Profits...so $55) out of nothing...zip....zero...$0.

Well, it's all for fun, so I'm once again going to be putting my money into the HYIP world...and frankly may well never see it again...but hey! This is for fun!

Oh, that little bit about starting with zero....that's right....I'm going to make my money from these silly sites that give you free money for surveys, registrations etc... We're talking pennies (or cents to those of you in the US!) for lots of clicking....I certainly wouldn't try to make a living off this, but it suites the challenge well!

So, the targets? OK, I've found a simple HYIP that takes a minimum of $5...essentially £2.50....nice and cheap! and for those of you not convinced HYIPs are risky...this ones on a Geocities site!

End investment target: http://www.geocities.com/egoldpro/index.htm

The free money....well as the above wants e-gold, as frankly do most HYIPs...I've chosen a site that will payout $1 or more to e-gold accounts!

The free money target: http://uniqwork.com

So what do you think? I'm probably mad, as I don't believe its possible myself really....but uniqwork should work (pardon the pun!). It's a question as to whether the Geocities HYIP will work. Well, it's free money, so I'm not worrying...it's all for fun.

I'll keep you updated...I'm going to log onto Uniqwork now and get clicking etc.. to earn my $5!!

Get paid to use Yahoo Search Engine!

Wow, well I knew one of these days that I'm come across a good money maker that I'd missed. Well this is that moment. Rather tragically, I came across MySearchFunds.com some years back and ignored it (I forget why, but I wasn't on my quest for money making ideas back then). Well MySearchFunds.com, which has now changed its name to Homepage Friends (a rather naff name change if you ask me), pays you to search the web. This used to be through Google, but they have recently switched over to Yahoo as their search provider. But nothing really changes. You goto your search page (set as your homepage for ease) e.g. mine is: http://www.myhpf.co.uk/mypage.asp?OrgID=87564 All the then have to do is use the search box to search with Yahoo. The results are no different to Yahoo's normal results, and you end up with about 2.4p (that's about $0.048) per search. At the rate I'm going, I'll have about £250 ($500) this year from the site... that makes my quest for...

How I'm protecting my investments from a stock market crash

Whilst I don't believe market forecasters have a crystal ball, it's clear that over the last two years Coronavirus, radical political leaders, and now a potential energy crisis have unsettled businesses and market investors alike. As markets dropped in the early part of the pandemic, I bought into some generalised funds, as the recovery seems relatively predictable. As we move back towards normality however, things are less predictable, and questions remain about the stability of markets, and whether stocks are now over-priced. So where do we go from here? Remind yourself of your goals Whilst "profit" is an obvious goal for investors, the timeline for this profit is more unique to the investor. Those getting close to retirement will likely have a different appetite for risk than those in their 20's. It's important to work out your own appetite for risk. For me, my appetite for risk has grown has I've become more confident in my approach. My goal is however...
Just a quick update...I'm still working on wjob...I'm upto 20 cents so far, and although this sounds rather pathetic, it's for a reason...I've not had the machine on much recently, and I certainly don't intend to leave the machine on just to autosurf...this has to be background surfing whilst I'm online anyway. Will keep you informed...I'm just hoping the investment on this $7, when I finally get there, doesn't lose it all....that would be rather sad after all this!!
